Overview

Dev Quotes ("the App") is developed by Tobias Ruano. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. We designed Dev Quotes to work without accounts, without a proprietary backend, and with minimal data collection.

Information we do not collect

The App does not require you to create an account. We do not operate a server that stores your reading history, favorites, streaks, or preferences. We do not sell personal information.

Information stored on your device

Your favorites, streak data, achievements, appearance preferences, and similar app state are stored locally on your device using iOS storage mechanisms (such as UserDefaults and app group containers for widgets). This data stays on your device unless you delete the App or reset your device.

Notifications

If you enable quote or streak reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. Notification content is generated locally. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase-related identifiers according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card details.

Analytics and crash reporting

The current version of Dev Quotes does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If this changes in a future release, this policy will be updated before those features ship.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
